Phoenix Carpet Cleaning continued

A few days ago we covered some reasons why you should be cautious when hunting for a Phoenix carpet cleaning firm, today, we continue to help you decide if you have found a good one.

Job Interview

Research

After you have a good name from a trusted source, some research is helpful. Do they have a website? Do they have any reviews, whether from major sites or testimonials on their site? I, having been in this industry a while, know that you cannot please everyone, and a bad review or two is no reason to end their chances. But it is good to keep in mind when you move onto the next step. It should go without saying that if they have more bad than good out there, you may want to run away, quickly.

Calling

Now is the time to call the company. You are not looking to schedule quite yet, but you are looking to interview them. If call the company with this in mind, you will not just drink any sales mumbo jumbo they are looking to serve you. You will go into the process ready to find out if these folks are able to take care of your specific needs.

Important questions to ask

“What services does your company provide?”

This question will generally give you a hint at how well trained the technicians are. Many I.I.C.R.C certified carpet cleaners are scared to death to clean furniture. Carpet cleaning is relatively simple, if a company is only willing to offer this one service, it can sometimes mean under trained technicians.

“How are you’re technicians trained”

This question can lead directly into the next one in some of the better scenarios. The important thing to look for is that there is a well thought out response. If this question is treated as odd or unusual, it may not be a good sign.

“Are your technicians certified cleaning professionals?”

This can go hand in hand with a sense of training. While we believe in the I.I.C.R.C. certification as being an important tool in training, some companies believe it to be the most important. Simply put, the I.I.C.R.C. stands for the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification, and is the only certifying body in the cleaning industry. For more info on them, check them out here. For our purposes, a company that takes the time to at least have a proper on site training program, followed by in class training through the I.I.C.R.C., is a safe bet to be at least an adequate cleaner.

I hope this helps you in your hunt for a good quality carpet cleaner. If you happen to be in the Valley of the Sun, you could give us a try. All of our technicians boast at least ten years on site experience as well as being Certified Master Textile Cleaners through the I.I.C.R.C., some of the few in the state. To be a master, you have to be well trained and experienced in the cleaning of a large variety of textiles and flooring styles. We are fully ready and able to clean, maintain, and restore anything you can sit, walk, or sleep on, whenever you need us.
